The Marine Discovery Centre usually runs school holiday programs during the June and September term breaks. Our holiday programs are opportunities for children and parents to visit the Centre and engage in fun and stimulating marine-themed workshops. The holiday programs also incorporate Family Discovery Days, where members of the public are welcome to visit the Centre, meet the animals, and learn about our beautiful marine environment. Centre staff are happy to conduct tours of the aquaria for holiday care and community groups during the school holidays. Due to high demand, tours generally need to be arranged well in advance. Please note, the Marine Discovery Centre is not open during the summer holidays as Centre maintenance is carried out at this time. Most animals are released and many of our tanks closed for cleaning.
